Typical Daily Schedule

The following schedule is what you can expect your child to experience on a regular basis.

I operate with enough flexibility to accommodate change, which happens regularly. No schedule will be adhered to 100% but I like to have some useful, creative structure with plenty of free play.

Our daily plan changes depending on the mix of ages, weather, weekly themes and daily flow of the environment.

I do like to be consistent about repeating the same daily pattern just before nap time so the children are prepared and automatically anticipate the daily nap time routine.

Here's what my typical schedule might look like:

Upon Arrival ..... Free play indoors (may be outdoors during hot weather)

by 9:00 .........."Quick pick-up" & wash hands, prayer, breakfast

9:00 - 9:15 ..... Pledge of Allegiance, Prayer, weather chart

9:15 - 10:45 ..... Learning activities, crafts, music, games, dance (daily rotations)

10:45 - 11:45 ..... Free play

11:45 - 12:00 ..... Clean up, wash up

12:00 - 12:30 ..... Lunch and wash up

12:30 - 1:00 ....... Story Time

1:00 - 3:00 .......... Nap Time (quiet activities for those who do not nap or awaken early)

3:00 - 3:15 .......... Put sleeping blankets away, wash hands

3:15 - 3:45 .......... Snack and wash up

3:45 - 4:30 .......... Free play, Stories, play outside in nice weather, finish a craft, etc.

4:30 - 5:00 ..................... Prepare for parent pick-up

When weather allows, we typically go for walks and play outside all morning. Please dress appropriately.
